How is business going?!

Anddd I'm back on the blog! Let me tell you, it is a huge thrill watching my little business grow! One of the most common questions I've gotten lately is, "How is business going?!" It occured to me that I should keep you up-to-date on some of the exciting things I have been working on over the past few weeks!

I have to start by saying thank you all for so many kind words and all the loving support! I truly appreciate all of your kindness.  After all, it is YOU guys who keep me motivated! So many of my friends are making such wonderful impacts in the world. I have friends teaching underpriveledged children on different continents, starting their own businesses, and becoming mentors for teens. You guys inspire me to reach high for my goals.  So I send you a special thanks your way :) muah!

I have been so busy! After my full website launch in April, I am now currently working with thirteen different couples from all over the United States! Some of the weddings will require my coordination services while others have me helping out with custom stationary design. From a design perspective, I am most excited about the wine labels and escort cards I made for a couple out in San Francisco! Their wedding is in a few short weeks, so stay tuned for pictures of them (I've sworn to keep it underwraps until their wedding day)!

Recently I was hired to do full coordinaton for a wedding next spring! Oh my goodness it is a thrill to work with this amazing couple! We get to bounce ideas off of each other and I cannot WAIT to see the final product! This weekend I will be out on venue tours with them and hopefully we can find a reception location that is ideal for their vision. Don't worry! I'll keep you posted with pictures of the venue on Facebook :)

My next day-of coordination will take place on September 21 in Baltimore, Maryland. It will be a lovely vintage inspired navy and blush evening wedding. I just saw their invitaions..... omg stunning! I'll try to get my hands on a picture to share with you.

One of my most anticipated weddings comes in October! Ahhhhhh I can't waittttt! Think white-on-white with a hint of blush and a splash of Oscar de la Renta! Get ready folks.... you will not want to miss this one!

May 2014...  I am 100% booked up! I'm so incredibly blessed to be asked to be a part of so many weddings! Two of my May weddings give me the chance to see some of my favorite friend couples tie the knot. I couldn't be happier for them!!! For one of my May weddings, the bride and groom are having a very special guest attending their wedding... (drumroll) their English bulldog Hippo!!! <--- Probably the cutest dog on earth! I simply cannot wait to meet this doggie!

While busy with my coordination services I have also been desgining ceremony programs, save the dates, thank you cards, and wedding invitations! Brides are having a lot of fun with my stationary design package. For every stationary element, they get three different design mocks  to choose from. We then mix and match their favorite elements of each to create a one of a kind custom design! Know a bride who would like their ceremony programs designed? Well give me a buzz! I'm becoming a pro at them now :)

Want to know a secret? I am currently working closely with a designer to create a whole brand package for my business! I couldn't be more excited/nervous! Big things to come... just watch! In time for our roll out goal in September, I am collaborating with some of my favorite DC vendors to create a stylized shoot! Here is a sneak peek on what to expect:

-Theme: Romantic. Inspired by the song "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop"

-Wedding Gowns: Lovely DC

-Photography: Amelia Johnson Photography

-Jewlery: Stella & Dot

-Stationary: Dandelion Patch

-Sweets: Macaron Bee

The style shoot is a HUGE undertaking, and even though it is taking a lot of effort to make it come to fruition, I am hoping to get published in some of the major wedding blogs. {Gulp!} Wish us luck!

I hope you enjoyed this little snap shot into my business :) Can't wait to see what the future holds!

xoxo,

JoAnna Dee
